Ski Service Kecerin is one of the 2 largest ski services in Croatia in terms of the number of equipment for rent, and from the 2018/2019 season it is certainly the best and most modern in terms of machines for arranging skis and snowboards.

In addition to the owners, the rental manager and the main service technician have been working in the service for over 10 years. The friendly atmosphere and experience is unquestionable.

Service

The service has 5 ski editing machines. Before the 2018/2019 season, we invested in a new plasticizer for the complete restoration of the sliding surface and the Reichmann SF-3 robot for the production of all possible structures on the sliding surface, from recreational to race variants. We are the only service in RH that can make a structure on both snowboard and cross-country skis!

In addition to the curb structure, the SF-3 has a tuning option (lower curb angle) of 0.25 / 0.50 / 0.75 / 1.00 and a curb side angle of 0 ° to 85 °.

Remember:

• for the slipperiness of the ski the structure is much more important than the waxing itself. The ski should not be as smooth as glass so that no vacuum is created between the ski and the snow but “furrowed like a car tire” for better water drainage. It should also not be stuttering from processing on "sandpaper" that tears the plastic, but finished on a stone disc that, along with the structure, gives smoothness to the plastic.

• tuning of the skies gives better handling which means easier cornering and easier cornering, while the side angle gives the ski sharpness for less gliding and better “holding” on ice.

• for better "holding" on the ice along the edges, the quality of the ski is even more significant, especially its torsional stiffness

The service has a capacity of over 100 sets of ski and snowboard services in one day, and annually together with our skis for rent we do over 5000 services.

All equipment for rent is serviced beforehand. We offer equipment for all age groups from 3 years onwards as well as all levels of skiing, boarding and "langlaufer" knowledge.

New: from 06.01.2020, after the Snow Queen, you will be able to rent equipment or hand over your skis for service in the newly renovated area on Sljeme.
